Eight pointed paper Star This eight pointed paper star is one of my very special favorites at Ugly Duckli!
The star is famous in Scandinavia and in Germany. In the days leading up to Christmas, family members would make woven heart baskets as well as fold their own eight pointed paper star.
This particular eight pointed paper star is also called the Morovian star, the German star and the Swedish star.
Interesting, its design is credited to the German man who coined the word "kindergarten" - Friedrich Froebel.
I am very proud of offering the traditional eight pointed paper star in either pristine white paper (two sizes available) or shiny brass. The paper version is light and graceful, while the brass version is stunning and much heavier because four individual pieces of high quality, fingerprint-proof and blemish-resistant brass plates go into making each one.
The lovely eight pointed paper stars make beautiful hanging decorations. You can also use them to better express your messages (*see below for suggestions) to your recipients.
*Suggestions of messages: - You are a Star - You were brilliant - Star of the evening - The Star performer
